In 1996, a company by the name of World Travel Protection Canada Inc. began to leverage its expertise in emergency medical case management to assist patients suffering from chronic illnesses.  This was the start of WTP Health.  Through its formative years, the company worked in close partnership with the pharmaceutical industry to develop innovative programs designed to address the distinctive needs of chronic patients.

By 2003, following significant investments in people and technology, WTP Health reinvented itself as Adjuvantz.  Adjuvantz is defined quite simply as “one that aids or assists another”.  And that is precisely what we do.

Today, our support programs span many therapeutic disciplines including rheumatology, transplantation, nephrology, dermatology, infectious diseases, neurology and oncology.  Common amongst them is our recognition of the need to care for patients in an empathetic and compassionate manner.  Doing this well, and in a timely way, is facilitated through our knowledgebase and through relationships developed and nurtured with private and public payers over the years.  Leveraging this know-how assists the patient through speedier access to therapy.  It also builds brand equity with their healthcare professionals and in turn establishes considerable value for the manufacturer.
